Shoes is a visual exploration of all the music that has shaped my life so far. It features a hand-sewn pleather backpack, three hand distressed albums representing middle school, high school, and college, a set of annotated concert photos, two letters to future selves, a set of headphones, shoe cutouts, and a catalog.
For decades people have told stories about what it was like to grow into the person they are now. A large majority of those people haven't hand-sewed a pleather backpack to hold the physical manifestations of their journey through their love of music.
