W1: Info + Ideations
I chose the aquarium because I personally enjoy aquariums the most and I have been to the Boston Aquarium multiple times. I think the way that the aquarium engages children and avid learners is very successful. However there are some wayfinding issues which make it hard to navigate without getting lost. There is also a lack of human and animal connection and activities for teen/adult aquarium goers which diminishes the rate of return customers. Visitors either take the time to go through every exhibit, pick favorites and go directly there or use the exhibits to inform classroom materials.

W1: Ideation
W2: Polishing and Presentation
Week two was all about translating our ideas into an easy to communicate form by making illustrations that showcase how we respect our prototypes to look and act like in the real world. Through exploring both storyboards and rendering I was able to illustrate how the different parts of my prototypes would function. I found it difficult to determine which composition would showcase the various capabilities of the aquarium companion and navigation app I designed.
I eventually decided that focusing on the Giant Ocean Tank as a main focal point would be the most successful aid to my storytelling. In my drawings I tried to include a bunch of different
people and personalities traversing the spiral that surrounds the tank to show that all different types of people visit the aquarium and experience it differently.
